Chosen by Grace Family Services is a small nonprofit group home dedicated to serving veterans. The organization is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial oversight on a part-time, stipend basis.
This role is ideal for a retired CFO, CPA, finance professional, or fractional CFO who is passionate about nonprofit work and veteran services.
Key Details
5–10 hours per month
Fully remote
Stipend-based compensation (discussed during interview)
Primary Responsibilities
Oversee financial management and reporting
Provide guidance on budgeting, cash flow, and financial planning
Ensure compliance with nonprofit financial and reporting requirements
Support grant reporting and funding compliance as needed
Advise leadership on financial best practices and sustainability
Coordinate with external accountants or auditors, if applicable
Qualifications
Experience as a CFO, Controller, CPA, or senior finance professional
Knowledge of nonprofit accounting and compliance preferred
Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in a remote environment
